NASCAR Wagers Forums Update

NASCAR Wagers Forums Readers,

Overnight our forums went through a major reconfiguration overhaul. As a result, prior post and registrations had to be reset. Therefore everyone will have to register once again. The good news is that everyone will be able to register under the same username as before if desired. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However we wanted to let our readers know that these changes were necessary for the long term goals of the site as well as hoping to create some more user friendly additions to our forums. While many of these changes were “behind the scenes” updates, there will be a few changes that you will notice as well.

A few of the changes that you may notice:

*New Forum URL – The complete URL of the forums was changed to enhance search engine optimization and more. Therefore if you had the forums saved in your favorites, you will have to delete the previous link and add the new URL to your favorites list. The forum links have been updated on our main site or you can simply type in nascarwagers.com/nascar-betting-forums.

*Customizable Smileys/Attachments – Anytime you select to upload an attachment, the file is saved to the forum in the media database. If you are wanting to add a smiley, icon, etc, simply attach it to one of your post and it will go to the forum database for approval for future uses. Therefore, you do not keep having to upload the attachment but it will show in the normal post list with your smileys and other icons.

*Like Post – You will now see a like post button on other members post. This is something that many readers like to be able to give feedback towards members that are making valuable post.

*Mention Members – Similar to the way that you use twitter, if you want to mention another member in a post simply type @(username). Depending on the user’s personal settings, they can be notified by email or through the forums messages anytime they are mentioned in a post.

*RSS Feed – Now once articles from the website are posted whether it is fantasy previews, race predictions, race picks, news, qualifying/practice results, etc. Any article that is posted on the site, will feed into the forums and be posted as a separate topic. This is a good way for readers to get the same information from the site without having to jump back and forth.

As we mentioned, there were also some other changes made that were behind the scenes mainly to protect our readers privacy and give our platform flexibility as we move forward. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions that you would like to address please email us at admin@nascarwagers.com.

Once again thanks for your cooperation!
