Alright fellas we are off for some REAL road racing this weekend at WATKINS GLEN!!!!!    UNLIKE Sonoma the ONLY my other OF THE 2 road courseS the CUP series runs ALL YEAR LONG, the GLEN races IS always JAM PACKED With action packed every single damn lap!!!  not to mention the hard racing, brutal wrecks, pit strategy involved this race has it all every single year... Anybody recall that kYLE Busch, Marcos Ambrose, and Brad  keslowski battle!?!?!   That Was the best 2 laps I racing I've ever seen in my NASCAR life.

The NATIONWIDE series is also in action at THE GLEN on Saturday afternoon.  The truck series is off this weekend but will return next weekend @ Michigan.

Now THIS is a weekend to get fired up about boys.  I really won't be needing my regular research as I already know the drivers I'll be betting just have to decide on the strategy of them based on opening odds.  Now the nationwide. Series I will have to do some research for once and probably be leaning on optional and jay for some tips there.

As always everybody's opinions, leans, and overall discussion are ALWAYS welcomed in the thread and all threads on this site.  The more we help each other the more $$$ we all win. That's why it's been so damn successful since we started and everybody Important has migrated over here.

NOW LETS GO GET''EM THIS WHOLE WEEKEND BOYS!!!!

ITS ROAD RACING TIME!!!!    :crash

Wow.  If reading correctly, only 3 of 25 match ups had underdog win last year and 5 of 25 in 2012.   Looks like a chalk track for H2Hs.

This is 1 of the easiest tracks to predict there is.

That said I still wouldn't hammer many juiced h2hs.  But its a good track to parlay a few though

I should be able to add a column for winner if it has a DOG or a FAV that won.  Might be good to look at a quick chart (/like jay came up with) for how the favs or dogs do at a certain track.

Be nice to know what matchups actually won with  no problems on the track for either car in certain matchups.  No wrecks, mechanical problems ,penalties, pit road problems ect ect.  Because that comes I to play in ALot of h2ha that cause W-L records deceiving.

Main reasons I watch the last 2-4 recent races on why a certain driver finished where he did an take the notes I do because dibishinf positions can be very very deceiving for good and bad finishes

I do love the chart though and know its not pitting a certain driver vs driver anyways,  think its still very helpful just another thing to think about

Yah an 0-5 h2h record could be because a bad wreck they got involved in, etc, so making them an autofade the follow year would not likely be a good idea.  I think the data has some value, and when added to the rest of the tools you guys use could pop out an extra h2h winner or two.

I totally agree i like the chart and appreciate u taking the time to put this together and post it for the forum....thats whats it all about, the more tools we have to handicap races the better imo....1 of the reasons this forum has done so well since we started it 5 months ago....we all appreciate it....

ive never been a huge h2h guy,  but this week is usually a week ill max 1-2 of them and play a h2h parlay so ill be checking  out tour chart/stats  for sure....

it seems like it can be VERY useful over the long-run as well

 :cheers

i hope they are because even if they are CLOSE to those odds on a few guys im jumping all over them early
