:< alright fellas we are off to HOTLANTA this weekend and all 3 series will be in action with trucks AND Xfinity on sat for a RARE double-header. CUP on Sunday afternoon. This will really be the start of the normal handicapping for the season and be interesting to see what shakes out in the sessions.  Even I want to see them.

ATLANTA is a 1.54 mile uniquely shaped quad-oval. It's bankinbfnis 24 degrees in all turns and 5 degrees down the straights. This will be the last race on this Great old and beat up pavement at Atlanta. Immediatley following this weekend 3x header of events, the racetrack will be replaced doe the first time in 20 years. Much to the drivers dismay I will add.

Remember last season they went over 200 laps to start this race without a single caution flag???  Well tjat def won't be a factor this season with stage breakup. Just started looking over my Atalanta notebook and all my driver notebooks early this morning. Took yesterday off to recover lol

GOODLUCK to everybody this weekend. As always everybody's picks, opinions and thoughts are always wecolmed here. Let's get this season rolling and make some some money fellas!!!!!

Not sure when odds will post this week but it was always usually Tuesday evening. But with the way last week was just not positive but wanted to have the thread up when they do post.

I'll be looking at 34 diff guys but just to see if there is any early value. I'm not gonna box myself in too much with early picks as odds will be nowhere near what they were last weekend. And this is our 1st chance to see the 1.5s programs on the racetrack so I'll be wanting to see practices ect. But if I like a guy or 2 I will go ahead and jump if the # is right.

Harvick
JJ
Logano
Truex
Chase

Only the bottom 3 are likely to have any value on openers.

I agree. Only person I would add to the list is a look at JR. But I agree tough to think JJ or Harvick will open at 7-1 or better. If Harvick does I'll jump asap

Notable stats.

Hendrick has won last 3 starts here. Jimmie the two years this has been back to a early race.

Kurt, Harvick and Junior are only drivers to have finished on the lead lap every start over the last 6 races.

Khane has only managed 1 lead lap finish in the same time, which was a race win. He qualifies well though.

Harvick has led a lot more laps than anyone else over last 6 races.

Kurt if he opens over 20-1 I would probably jump on that. Usually runs well here. In the last 10 races has 2 wins and Top 6 in another 5 races. Don't like betting on a guy right after he has a big win but it seems like momentum/confidence can be a big factor sometimes.

I might have to do something I NEVER do and jump on harvick at 6-1 or better. Doubt he gets better than opens at. Only way I would take Jimmie is in a parlay if he looked in resolve in sessions

Had he notnpitted 7 laps before Harvick last time he would not have won the race. That was an amazing call by kanaus to win.

I'm gonna try and get a parlay going and on last leg for Sunday too.

Also want to see truex and Elliot odds on openers. Either won couldn't hetvtoo much better no matter what. U less a crazy overreaction if they qualified bad and I'd just addon. Not sure what I'll do til odds actually post though

Similar to William Hill. I wouldn't take anything.
