P1 Fri 7am ET
P2 Fri 11am
P3 Sat 8am
Quali Sat 11am
Race Sun 11am

2nd last race of the season.

If Rosberg wins, he takes the drivers title.

But his bigger concern is keeping his final engine together for the last two races and avoid a grid penalty. Engine is already 2 races old and they have apparently running it with conservative settings already.

Hamilton pretty much needs to win. Trouble is this is one of his poorer tracks. Rosberg has won pole and the race the last two years, soundly beating Hamilton in every session last year.

Hamilton has set the fastest race lap the last two years though.

Traditionally all the big teams have had success here but last year Mercedes were so dominant everyone but the two ferraris were lapped in the race. Year before they finsihed 40+ seconds in front of Massa in third.

I expect they will smash everyone again this year.

And speaking of Massa... this will be his last GP at home in Brazil.  I'll be taking a punt it will be a good race for him.

Red Bull been kinda awful here last 2 years. I expect they will be better this time but doubt they will be ahead of Ferrari and probably have to fight for a both to finish top 6.

Tyre choices are pretty standard all down the field. Think most will choose a 3 stop race. maybe Force india will try a 2 stop but short pit lane means 3 stop usually faster anyway.

Odds from Crownbet (in Decimal)

First bet

Fast Lap - Massa +8000

Weather prediction from Pat Symonds (Williams)

We are expecting very poor weather in the lead up to the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend with a chance of showers on both Saturday and Sunday. We are hoping it will be dry, however we could see a situation similar to 2013 when the first real dry running we had was on race day. Interestingly, Pirelli have gone one step harder than last year, as opposed to going a step softer as normally happens, so we have the hard, medium and soft compounds available; the first time we've had that combination since 2013. Generally, we expect a two-stop race irrespective of tyre choice.

Longshots order of the day right now with rain expected.

I am going to wait for Friday morning and see how wet it is.

Probably take Vettel for fastest in practice 1 and Pole if it is really wet.

Could bring people like Sainz and Grosjean into thinking for Q3 and top 10 bets too.

Ricciardo handy in wet too. As is Lewis.

wtf vettle!

I only half watched it and havent had a chance to read anything yet. Might be just different race weekend startegy. All teams have a lot more track/tyre/setup info for this track than the last few so Ferrari could have just been doing long run work instead of baselining tyres and setup as most teams usualyl do in P1.

We'll know more after P2.

Didn't really learn much.

Don't know why Ferrari and Force India look so crap.

Williams looking good as hoped.

Ricciardo sounds confident, not of beating merc but of being next best.

No bloody rain again today.   :sucks

Rains on NASCAR every week and seems to be forecast rain that never comes at F1 races every other week.  Annoying.

Anyway, quali about to start and they are still bullshittign  about 70% chance of rain.

Only chance my Vettel bet wins is if it finally comes but whas the bet it holds offf until quali done too.

Pissed a bit about Pat Symonds idiot forwcast that was totally wrong. Wont listen to him again so easily.
