INDIANAPOLIS — Google’s self-driving car continued its dominance over the NASCAR circuit on Sunday in Indianapolis, crushing the competition at the Brickyard.

The victory was the ninth consecutive appearance in the winner’s circle by the driverless car that continues to circle the track again and again with flawless execution.

“This is why I’m staying retired,” said Jeff Gordon. “I can’t compete with these new driverless cars. The best part about driving before was knowing that all these guys out there were some of the dumbest people alive and could make a mistake at any moment that could get you the win. But these robot cars don’t do that.”

Kyle Busch finished second at the Brickyard and admitted it was “humiliating” to lose by three laps to a Toyota Prius. The self-driving car was booed heavily as it crossed the finish line in first place again.

“I think this car plays into a lot of the fears many NASCAR fans already have, that the world is advancing and leaving them behind. That they’re obsolete,” said Google Self-Driving Car project lead Harris Tormond. “At least that’s what how we’re trying to make them feel. It’s a lot of fun.”

Yet Google is tweaking the Prius to try to make it more accepted by racing fans.

“We’re going to have the car’s radio blast country music as it rounds the track,” said Tormond. “And you know that window decal of Calvin urinating on something? We’re going to have it urinating on the Yahoo logo.”

Oh and Kurt. Chase too if odds are good enough. He came in 4th his only time here and dad won here during his late career run.

Going to have top 3/5 on JJ and top 5 on gordon.

Same. I thought I'd wake up to 9/1. Hope we're seeing this right. Odds haven't moved.
