It was one of my handicapping tools....This blows!!!!!

CHASSIS SELECTIONS

No More Chassis Selections: Recently, six more teams (4 at Hendrick and 2 at MWR) have stopped posting chassis selections on their race preview.
This leaves only 5-8 teams posting chassis selections.
Two years ago 25-28 teams posted chassis selections in their race previews.
It dropped to about 14 in the early part of 2015 and now just a few teams.
Will no longer post Chassis Selections as most are not available

Yep I have been watching this decline for some time now. I loved seeing the chassis selection for part of my handicapping checklist  :sucks

Idiotic move by teams, I am sure you will see lots of complaints from fans who use this info for fantasy picks. I have used this info for years.

Should make it mandatory like injury reports. But then teams would just lie and tell half-truths anyway like IR's.

Makes no sense to me either.  Think any real handicapper at least glanced at the chassis.  Never made any final bets based just off that but still great in onto have for sure.  But in 3 years none will give it out

NASCAR should simply mandate that teams need to nominate chassis numbers to be used 2 or 3 days before the race weekend.
