Who else is interested in reviving the old Punters Club we used to have at SBR?

I thought it was one of the best 'games' we ever had there personally.

Basically we all put in for a joint bankroll, then take turns punting for the group. 2 people per race with the system we used at SBR.

If the punter wins, he stays on to bet again the next race.

If we do it the same way it was at SBR it would mean a maximum of 8 people could join.

I'll fill in the details once we see if enough people want to join in.

I am thinking buy in should be $100 each.

Anyone?

Cool!

5 Already. Looks like we are a goer.

I'll have a yak with Jay and see if one of his sponsor books might be able to sweeten the pot a little and come back with more info.

I wasn't part of the club, so im a little confused at what your saying. I'll still probably play after I understand what were doing better.

JMAC,

I was not around at that time either but Opti has explained it to me before. @Optional may need to check in to better explain it.

However, you have a group of bettors, namely the punters club, preferably 8 that put up an equal entry, say $100 for a $800 starting bankroll. Each week you have 2 punters that are able to bet a certain % on the bankroll (say like 5% for example), if the punter hits a profit or a certain amount of profit he stays on as a punter (picker) for the next week. If that person does not make a profit, it goes to next person in the group and so on. Obviously, if you are picking winners and are hot, you keep picking. It's a good way for the group to collaborate on picks and pull for the punters/group's picks as obviously we want the groups plays to hit and make money. At the end of the how ever long the club runs, all profits are split equally among the punters club members given there is a profit. I have no idea of how successful in terms of making money this was at SBR because again I was not around. However, I like the idea of the comradery and pulling for each other to make money as a group.

I'll get the full details up ASAP but here is basically how it will go

We use 1% of the bankroll as a unit. So starting with $800 we would use $8 units. We make two lines of punters with the top of each line being the punters to bet that race.

Each punter gets 8 units to bet with per race anyway they like.

If a punter gains a net return of 12  units (ie: +150 on their money) they stay on to punt again the next week. If not they drop to the bottom of that line.

I want to use Carbonsports for the account as I prefer a new book I'm not currently using so every transaction on the account is for the club, it seems to still have decent lines on the guys that bet down early at 5Dimes so club punters don't need to be hanging around trying catch openers every week (which won't happen in my experience) plus it helps Jay and Mike.

I can select a new depositor bonus option that will give us a $100 freeplay with no rollover requirements. That will give each member a $12.50 freeplay to use at any time within 30 days.. so over the first 3 or 4 races as well.
People can send to me by Skrill, Paypal, wire or Western Union if you really have to. I’ll deposit by Skrill.  (@5mike5 I can send you and invoice from paypal that you can pay by credit/debit card without having to sign up)

Payouts at the end of the season can be by skrill, paypal, wire or player to player transfer via the sportsbook.

I think thats all the important details.

I like it! So If we double our bank to 1600, a unit bet becomes $16 right?
