Bet $50 on this at 5dimes this morning:  Martin O'Malley to be the Democratic nominee: +1800

Sure, that $50 will be tied up for a long time but I've got some extra money sitting in the account.  Everyone thinks the Dem nominee will be Hillary--I'm not so certain of it.  Its a long ways to go and O'Malley is definitely running and has a history of coming from behind to win.  His odds should be more in the 8-1 range I think, so I threw $50 on it.

Plus I can't stand Hillary  :cool

So you moved the line from 1800 to 1500..LOL.

From a value perspective you are probably correct, although I can't see anyone winning besides HC.

The masses could not pick O'Malley or Warren out of a police lineup.

Ha, I guess I did move the line:

5/19/15 9:51am   $50.00   $900.00   Pending   7/25/15 6:00am  Politics Other Sports  955 Martin O'Malley is Democratic Nominee +1800* vs Field wins Democratic Nomination

No one could have picked Obama out of a lineup in 2008 either...and O'Malley has a lot more experience to run on than HRC even.  The electorate is yearning for outsiders...I think he's got a legitimate shot....the only way to go is up!

I think Obama was already famous from his DNC speech.

tiny limits on that stuff so very easy to move the lines

think limit is 100

I personally think Hilary is a lock barring a death, serious illness, or a major scandal

Any thoughts on the other side?

Jeb +200
Rubio +350
Walker +400

Fox/Mainstream R's will push Jeb, Walker is a dark horse but odds would have to be closer to 8 to 1 for me to take.

If I had to pick one of those three, I can see this playing out to Rubio's favor.  If Jeb doesn't perform well out of the gate in Iowa and New Hampshire, he definitely won't win South Carolina and he will endorse Rubio.  Rubio has a great appeal as an "outsider" candidate...is well funded and knows how to tow the party line to appease the establishment but be just refreshing enough for the voter looking for change.

That said, the odds are bad right now.  Walker should be 7-1, Rubio 5-1, Jeb 3-1, R. Paul 12-1, Fiorina 20-1

for other props it's 100 but I guess politics less because the game is rigged!
