Just about to watch practice 2. This session is on at about same time of day as the race.

Practice 1 didnt tell us much as its a night race and that was in heat of the day.

I don't 'really' think Merc can be challenged in the cooler night conditions but we will find out a lot more over the next hour and a half.

Neither Ferrari driver was good enough odds to back early anyway imho.

I was going to start a parlay with Hamilton winning but something is telling me to stay away from this race. It starts too early in the morning for me anyways as I am working evening shift this weekend. Maybe I will bet something small on it if I wake up but I doubt it.

I'm feeling a bit the same way.

Not certain what will happen at front. Not sure enough about who will better out of Williams and Red Bull. And then we have 5 teams all converging to be near equal.

I will have a bet still probably but not with confidence. And only small. I think.

4 hours left to decide for sure.

Race Matchups - Bahrain Grand Prix - Bahrain International Circuit - Sakhir, Bahrain - NBCSN

Sun 4/19       7701 Lewis Hamilton       -240
11:00AM        7702 Sebastian Vettel        +200

Sun 4/19       7703 Sebastian Vettel       -185
11:00AM        7704 Nico Rosberg        +160

Sun 4/19       7705 Nico Rosberg       -165
11:00AM        7706 Kimi Raikkonen        +145

Sun 4/19       7707 Sebastian Vettel       -280
11:00AM        7708 Kimi Raikkonen        +240

^^^  Any/all of the above are worth thinking about the dog.  Also, if you a shot at Rosberg beating Hamilton, the +650 on him to win is generous.

*Warning. I still imagine Hamilton will win and Rosberg will pull himself together to beat out Vettel for 2nd place... followed by the two Ferraris.  Behind that is less sure. Grosjean could surprise both Williams and Red Bull. Strong chassis suits this track and it finally 'appears' they have got the Merc engine tweaked to be drivable in it.

Sun 4/19       7709 Valtteri Bottas       -155
11:00AM        7710 Felipe Massa        +135

Massa has outperformed Bottas in most sessions this year.  I think the back problems are still there and contributing to this. Bottas isnt the same star driver he was at the end of last year when he clearly had the wood on Massa.  Take the hot dog +135

Sun 4/19       7711 Carlos Sainz       -175
11:00AM        7712 Max Verstappen        +155

Hard to see Verstappen challenging Sainz after his bad quali job.

Sun 4/19       7713 Felipe Nasr       -185
11:00AM        7714 Marcus Ericsson        +160

I like Nasr skill/mind wise out of these two, as I think most books and pundits automatically do as well.  Thye give us generous odds on Ericcson every race.  +160 is a value bet.

Sun 4/19       7715 Nico Hulkenberg       -185
11:00AM        7716 Sergio Perez        +160

Both guys looking much happier and the car handling much better than previous races. Similar situation as the Sauber matchup above... Default is to make Hulk fave. Either no bet or take the dog for the vlaue. -185 is definitly NOT good value even if i do think he should triumph.

Sun 4/19       7717 Fernando Alonso       -245
11:00AM        7718 Jenson Button        +205

Even though his car has broken down on first lap in 3 out of 4 sessions... if it doesnt in the race he has shown in each race this year he can fight with Alonso and be faster at times.  +205 is lovely odds even though Alonso starts 6 places ahead.  They will end up converging together in around 15th-18th places whatever happens, due to their speed disparity with the rest of the field still. Plus it must be Alonsos turn to break down next :)

Sun 4/19       7719 Daniel Ricciardo       -240
11:00AM        7720 Romain Grosjean        +200

Who knows what will happen with the Red Bull... will Dan lose 10 places off the start again?   (this was a thing Webber did in about 50% of races in that car) Will the car  be good or lose the brakes and just be shit again?  Who the hell knows!!!

Again... the dog or not bet.

Sun 4/19       7721 Max Verstappen       -115
11:00AM        7722 Daniil Kvyat        -115

Kyvat a choker and whining bum. Dont think he has the heart to fight with a less than perfect car. Verstappen a world champion of the future.  Both stuffed up quali and should be an awesome race between them from the rear.

Sun 4/19       7723 Roberto Merhi       +210
11:00AM        7724 Will Stevens        -250

Who the hell knows... so yeah you guessed it... take the dog or not bet.

Take my views with a grain of salt this week.

I'm not really feeling strong about anything...  probably like Grosjean>Ricciardo +200 and Rosberg>Vettel +160 best of the dog bets.

Anything I can start open parlay with

like Grosjean>Ricciardo +200 and Rosberg>Vettel +160 best of the dog bets.

Sainz -170 > Verstappen is probably the 'surest thing' there.

The real fastest lap chances are all under 10/1 so I dont see much value there.  Might put $2 on each of these 8 same as last race, for interest in it.

Pastor Maldonado  +8500
Daniel Ricciardo  +12000
Romain Grosjean  +12000
Daniil Kvyat  +17500
Max Verstappen  +17500
Marcus Ericsson  +17500
Felipe Nasr  +17500
Carlos Sainz Jr  +17500

In gonna fail u on those separately.  Should be fun to watchman she'll I have interest in an f1 race!!!

I'll take ur advice on the fastest lap.   I like betting those a lot but always a longshot sonic they had no chance there's no point in betting it like u said
