Dale Earnhardt Jr will jump back into the JR Motorsports #88 machine this week. Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin, and Austin Dillon are the other big names from the Cup Series that will be also participating. Green flag is scheduled to wave at 8:46PM (EST) this Friday  :cheers

A few quick facts:

*The last 12 winners have all come from the top 10 starting positions

*Since earning his first NASCAR win back in 1998 at Texas in this series, Dale Earnhardt Jr has finished no better than 4th in 6 starts since that win.

*Brad Keselowski won his last start at Texas in the fall of 2013. Keselowski has just 1 win in 14 career starts at Texas but has finished no worse than 5th in 8 of his last 9 starts including two runner-up finishes.

*Denny Hamlin is 0 for 11 at Texas in the Xfinity Series. However, Hamlin has scored 4 straight top 5 finishes and has 3 runner-up finishes to his resume.

*In 5 starts, Austin Dillon has finished between 3rd and 7th in each race giving him the 2nd highest average finishing position among active drivers with more than 2 starts behind Ryan Blaney.

*Last year's winner Chase Elliot won in his first start at Texas. Elliot backed up his win with a 4th place showing in the fall of 2014 as well.

Hard not to look at last years winner chase Elliot imo at almost double digits and probably will be soon

But damn there's a lot of cup competition.  Open parlays seem likely on 1-2

Yeah I remember but still thought was a ok price but with all the cup competition it would be tough

But I haven't bet anybody.  Knowing I'll open parlay BK and maybe 1 more for Sunday and that's probably my goal.  If any1 else but opens win is love too of course

Final Practice Speeds

Practice 1 Speeds

Sorry guys, been fighting internet issues from my home where I do all my work from so getting these posted a little bit late. Will have picks and article preview posted shortly.

Dillon looking really fast on single lap speed. However, I am not sure if I am convinced he has a long run car. Going to look into a few more things
