I thought about taking another shot at Vettel this week as he was 25/1 early in week... but I am getting a bit gun shy betting against the Mercs.

Seems I should not have hesitated as both Red Bull driver's odds have dropped a long way.

I don't think I've seen that happen pre practice all year that I can recall.

Vettel has won 4 of the last 5 races here (with Button taking the other)

Merc's best has been 6th, 11th, 6th over the last 3 years. (but I wrote a very similar thing about Merc's historic performance at Singapore last race)

McLaren and Williams both have huge upgrade packages for this race. But their base cars do not really suit the fast corners here as well as their competition. Although McLaren have done pretty well here over the years.

Kimi only has the 1 win here (in a McLaren)  but he is ultra reliable for top 5s.  Might be worth having a small amount on that 105/1 just in case.

If every team had to build a different car and design a brand new engine with turbos and hybrid as well as the normal donk for next year, then I bet NASCAR order would be shuffled madly.

Honestly I am surprised how littel change in the order there has been, apart from Merc taking over from Red Bull as #1 team.  I was  half expecting to see a lower order make a big jump. And I guess Williams has done that, but with them its a big part due to that Merc engine too.

This race would have been on at a good time for Americans to watch, around midnight central time if I seen right.

Is there video of the Jules Bianchi crash?

No, F1 control the cameras and original TV feed and they chose to not show it at all.
