Alright fellas, were Rs off to the pocono mountains  is this weekend for the POCONO 400!!!   You either live or hate his race and I love it. But then again after the disaster I has at Dover anything would look better than that.  Lmao.  Well let's get another hot streak going this week and all make a bunch of money like we usually do.

POCONO is a 2.5 mile flay as hell triangle.   Its unique track with nothing else on the schedule like it.  There is basically no banking at all to this racetrack which is crucial when handicapping the race along with all the other usual things.  I've already started reading my notebooks and the last 4 races we've had from there.  It offers about every senario from pit strategy to fuel mileage that can come I to play here.

v to everybody this weekend and hope we all kill'em at the  payout window this week.  One week off is too many for me. I'm ready to get a huge weekend in again boys.  Let's go!!!!

 :cheers

Also the TRUCK SERIES has race @ TEXAS motor speedway on FRIDAY NIGHT at 8pm on the foxsports1 channel

The  NATIONWIDE series is on a rare weekend off.

No NASCAR series racing on Saturday sure is odd.  Sucks

Hey mike, you think the reconfigure of turn 2 will make more guys playable?  i always thought that was why denny and jj were good here.  they got in and out of turn two better, which then set them up for the turn 3 in which everyone works on.

will be interesting to see what differance it makes.  kinda like if it turns into the back of phoenix or if everyone stays on the track as if the curbs were there.

anyway, thoughts?

I think Hamlin may be one of my plays at Pocono

im sure he will be on almost everyone's short-list depending on his odds...he use to just flat out dominate flat tracks, and still does at times, but nothing like he was early in his career....and #48 has been killing laps lead here lately too sorry to mention

now he does have a lot more competition than even just a few years ago though imo

Penske will be a team to watch imo also this weekend, at least for me....maybe even on openers, of course everyone i look at favorites and long-shots will just depend on odds on how many if any at all early when they 1st post...jimmie WILL be the fav, denny maybe 5-6th in odds line to start the week off

1 of the biggest reasons i like this track (which doesn't help with handicapping) is the pit strategy and fuel mileage game thats always in question here...

i mean u can make a green flag stop here and not even lose a lap under green flag conditions late in runs....makes things interesting

but also leaders and track position are crucial, as it can get strung out and also very boring to watch at times as well imo

but im fired up and like this racetrack overall...been at it all day with notebook on pocono and driver notebooks on pocono

hate to bring this up already, but jimmie and that #48 squad has been just had rocketships  @POCONO most of the time last few years, leading over 200 laps the last few races, which is TWICE as many as anybody else in the whole field

that is scary with the roll that #48 team is on fellas

#earlyoddsonfav#48

**but the fastest and best car rarely wins races, but this team does a great job of it if they do

surprised to see harvick second favorite as I think he has only led about 4 laps in his career here. But he has been good this year!

yeah sportsbook order is usually close if not exactly as 5dimes with lower prices usually....

and when trident posted that even i was taken back, but hes not going be outside of top 3 at any non-road course race in the near future imo....he might not win every week, but hes got a top 3 car every fucking week and that is just a fact

plus the googans will bet the hot guys like him no matter what so the sportsbopok wins....30% of the bettors probably don't know if hes even won here in his carrer or not or if hes usually fast here, they only focus on the present....track be damned.....but i said same thing about Darlington... :lol

Don't forget that Stewart Haas has a pretty good record here (with Newman and Stewart) and Kurt Busch has a great driver rating here too and is now in SHR equipment.

This is the type of race that Tony can work gas mileage and get his victory.  He's a streaky driver and he seemed to like being up front at Dover.  I will see where Kurt Busch and Tony open and possibly make a move if either of them are 30-1 or higher

another good catch MileHIgh.

This is exactly why there is no better forum ANYWHERE for racing.   We have the best cappers with different ideas and opinions ect for everybody to consider from the top to the bottom of our early roster of posters and we have only been open just 3 weeks.

Keep up the good work guys love he early info and opinions.

Tony was the main long shot I was looking at this week, but was expecting 20-1, maybe dimes will be closer to that. Smoke is heating up and running well at one of his worst tracks last week caught my attention.
