Drive for the Cure 300 Postponed

Xfinity Series racing action was scheduled to take place later tonight with the Drive for the Cure 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. However, Hurricane Matthew has produced a lot of rain along the entire southeastern United States and is expected to be in the area for the next couple of days. As a result, the Drive for the Cure 300 along with all of Friday’s on-track activities at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been postponed. The final race in the Xfinity Series Chase round of 12 will take place Sunday morning at 11:00am (EST). Currently several Sprint Cup Series drivers are scheduled to participate in the Drive for the Cure 300 but we will see how things unfold with tomorrow’s Bank of America 500 also in jeopardy of postponement.
